Oiapoque, Brazil (frontier with French Guiana)–
17th December, 2004
The last frontier before entering French Guiana. Munched down
one litre of Acai, haggled over prices for a few hours, purchased
food supplies to enable cheap meals through French Guiana, filling
up final tank of petrol as it is much cheaper in Brasil, drank
final Guarana Antarctica soft drink, savoured a skol (beer), and
wrestled the bike into place at the bow of small boat. The bike
has never been so close to floating its way to the bottom of a
river ever.
