Isla De Margarita – late January, 2005
Hayley and I quite obviously enjoying the moment.

Isla De Margarita – late January, 2005
Hayley using her special soul glow eyes to lure me into a prickly cactus patch, where she battered me with cactus stumps in response to my lack of ability to ever make breakfast on time. I made breakfast on time the very next morning.

Isla De Margarita – late January, 2005

Walking from Playa Parguito to Playa el Agua we discovered a mighty fine point covered in cactus and cornchip packets. The beauty beats the beast.

Isla De Margarita – late January, 2005
Jean-Marie our host doing what he does best. Be a dirty old man. A prime example of the 40+ expat crew living on the islands. He is still a nice guy, even if he does drink from 7am until midnight. Don't get me wrong guys (the isla expat crew), I know you have fun! Do what makes you happy I guess.

Isla De Margarita – late January, 2005
Trying desperately to suck out one of Hayleys eyeballs to keep after she goes for memorabilia. She has great eyes. It was my only option.

Isla De Margarita – late January, 2005
Hayley really likes this photo, and since my disk drive is busted I couldn't burn them for her. So yeah. Like it or lump it. I don't know why she thinks a picture of prime steak is so exciting anyway.

Isla De Margarita – late January, 2005
Tomas the tanked engine. Living on the island for three years he still knows how to party. Three days later with no sleep he was still partying. Not bad for a 40something year old.

Mount Roraima– 12th January, 2005
Tall Paul prepares to enter the watery crevice that occupies the eastern edge of a damn huge mesa down in the south eastern edge of Venezuela. Damn cold if the story be told, regardless the fine frame of the TeePee enters enthralled with the liquid upon entry.

Near Mt Roraima– late January, 2005
After not being fed all day by our much more than useless guide nicknamed after a local midgie that terrorises your soul with its bite, Hayley decided she needed to eat something which she really shouldn't have.

Did you know that Guyana is actually pretty damn cool? Munch...on round things.
